The AMP is a USB module that plugs to an available USB port on a PC to provide advanced input efficiency and control The AMP creates a single virtual input device from the plugged USB devices enabling them to be coordinated and configured with IDI(TM) (Input Device Intelligence) macros for a new kind of "amplified" input efficiency. IDI macros can improve input efficiency by recognizing your most efficient input movements and triggering simple to complex command input combinations that save you effort.
IDI technology enables the use of virtual "device combos" that amplify command input options. You can specify any combination of key, button presses or mouse movement across the 3 devices to be recognized as a valid game or program input command, enabling bipedal and left and right hand input combos.
The AMP stores and manages up to 30 independent configurations for fully customized use with specific programs. These are automatically swapped and loaded as the user enters the related games or applications for seamless context sensitive macro power.
The AMP is an IDI device. It uses IDIScript macros and is configured with the GWS IDI Device Configurator to create a virtual programming interface for your USB mouse and keyboard. When plugged, the AMP puts the keyboard and the buttons of the USB mouse under virtual IDI macro control. (Mouse tracking is not affected.) When the AMP is unplugged, the mouse instantly reverts to its own software based configuration.
IDIScript macros and support files for games and applications are small in size and easily shared. Free macros and macro support will be available via forum and resources at IDImama.com opening soon. (July 10)

Mouse:
Passes mouse tracking data directly to Operating System. Sensitivity settings and polling rate are set by default OEM mouse software and are unaffected by the AMP.
Map up to 8 mouse buttons to IDI control. Proprietary buttons which control on board device functions like tracking sensitivity are ignored.
Map "shift" functions to thumb buttons to triple standard button output
